Remodeling A Small
Remodeling small rooms may present a headache to the owner of the house. In most cases,
destroying the wall completely may not be an option, yet, the remodeling has to be carried out, so that a new look
can be felt. It is easier to work with a big bathroom since ideas will always come to mind. With a small bathroom
though, these ideas may lack, but this does not mean that one cannot fix some new ideas to come up with a better
bathroom than what was previously there.
One of the very first ideas that must come to mind is designing a floor plan that will
incorporate maximum usability of the room. Free floating cabinets are a good idea and should not be thrown away.
The bathroom should be kept bright. This in turn leads the designer in thinking about the colors that he is going

the color scheme must be kept simple and inviting. The designer must therefore know how to play around with these

free-standing and in the same way save up on so much space. The typical way of saving up on a lot of floor space is
by the removal of bathroom tubs and introducing the showers instead. If the designer or the owner of the house does
not feel like this is the right option for him, he might want to reconsider using smaller bath tubs which do not
have spill over rates as high as other bath tubs.
Finally, amongst the many toilet seats that are available in the stores, one will want to
pick a seat that can fit comfortably near the wall. Conventional ones used to feet a whole 14inches away from the
wall while newer models have the capacity of fitting at a distance of 12inches away from the wall. The illusion
that a lower toilet seat creates is one that is not congested. Bigger seats make the toilet seem too
